Poplar Building & Drainage Supplies Ltd (PBS) is one of the largest independent builders and civil engineers merchant in the UK, stocking a comprehensive range of building supplies, DIY and trade products. Traditionally a specialist in heavyside building materials and drainage, PBS has explored more diverse markets and have expanded their paving & landscaping product ranges as well as the tools, fixings and janitorial supplies part of the business.

How we started

Established in Glenrothes in 2010, the company is conveniently located in Glenrothes in the heart of Fife where we have been serving trade professionals and the general public since our inception. 

Early in 2016 PBS expanded by opening another location in Glasgow.  Now located in Rutherglen a stone’s throw from the M74 in our custom-built depot.

PBS believes strongly in the needs of the tradesman. Through the expansion of stock holdings on quality brands, competitive pricing and an unrivalled onsite delivery service, PBS have developed their core business in order to meet these needs.
